Food and Wine Global Marketplaces

The global marketplaces (aka food booths) are the highlight of Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival these days. There are usually 30+ booths set up around World Showcase and in World Discovery, World Celebration, and World Nature (formally Future World).

These offer up some amazing food and drinks, and the portion sizes are typically small enough you can really taste your way around the world!

Some booths stay mostly the same from year to year, for instance you can pretty much count on Canada to be serving up a Filet Mignon, and also a Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Soup. Brazil will likely (hopefully) always have the Brazilian Cheese Bread. Other booths will change their offerings every year, which makes returning yearly a lot more fun to try more things!

You may also see some changes in the food booths themselves from year to year. While some are staples and are hard to imagine being removed, others have gone away only to come back a few years later (looking at you Greece), and others have disappeared completely. The good news is, usually when a booth is removed, a new one is added! In 2024 they added some fantastic new booths that had some of the best food in the festival. Bramblewood Bites, and Forrest and Field were two of the new ones that really stood out this year. I cannot say enough good things about the Grilled Cider-brined Pork Tenderloin from Bramblewood bites, that was such an amazing addition to this years fest! The pumpkin raviolo from Forrest and Field was another outstanding item from this years fest.

The booths in World Showcase are themed to the countries they are in (or other countries that are not represented with a pavilion), while the booths at the front of the park tend to be more general food items that aren’t necessarily a representation of a country. You’ll find the Mac ‘n Cheese booth in this area as well as the Fry Basket, Coastal Eats and Earth Eats (plus many more!)

While the portion sizes of the food from the booths is usually small enough you can try multiple items, we would still recommend planning on more than a single day to experience it all. There are just so many food booths, and some items can be pretty heavy so fill you up fast! We also like to split dishes so we can try even more each day.

At the front of the park there is a good amount of seating to enjoy the food you pick up. The central spine, World Celebration, has so many seating areas scattered about. Oddly, they don’t have many food booths in that area, in fact they only had one in 2024. So while you can certainly bring the food you pick up to that area, it may not be the most convenient. There are typically a handful of standing tables in the areas of the food booths, but those can be hard to snag during busy times. So one thing that you’ll see many people doing is using the many trash cans around the park as makeshift tables! We always joke that you didn’t really go to an Epcot festival until you’ve had at least one meal on top of a trash can! You’ll see some people have even gotten super fancy and bring their own small tablecloth to put on the trash can to make it a bit more elegant! If using a trash can as a table isn’t for you, we’d also recommend asking other to share tables. We’ve found most people are happy to share if there’s room!
