A Fabulous, Alternative, Morning in Epcot
Imagine arriving at Epcot in time for rope drop, but instead of joining the masses to get on Frozen Ever After or Remy with a hopefully short wait, you go off on your own, to an area that you almost have completely to yourself. Now imagine getting a delicious breakfast and eating by a relaxing fountain while watching the massive crowds stream by. That, is exactly how we started our morning, and it was fabulous!
So where can this be done? In the France pavilion in Epcot! There is a great bakery, Les Halles, tucked away in the pavilion that opens at park opening where you can choose from a large selection of baked goods and more!
It has become a tradition for us each trip to do at least one morning enjoying breakfast in France from Les Halles. Our go-to food is always the chocolate brioche and mimosas. The brioche is so light and flaky, and the chocolate is the perfect sweet, but not too sweet. It is amazing! Then the mimosas, I mean, you can’t really go wrong with them, and they make them quite strong at Les Halles!
Once we have our food in hand, we’ll take it to the fountain at the front of the pavilion and just enjoy the atmosphere while watching the crowds rush back to ride Remy. It is seriously the most relaxing start to the day, and SO many people comment about what a great idea we had when they see us!
